Her works, love, and service shall speak for her forever. The Cathedral Family/ especially in Asbury Park / is a stronger Church because of her sacrifice and service. I am proud, even now- to have been her Bishop!

Miss you Sister. Always thinking of you. I thank the Lord that he blessed me with having you in my life. As I think about you, it always brings a smile to my face. You continue to inspire me through the challenges I go through in life. You set the example of seeking Christ first in every life's moment and I continue to find strength in him. Thank you for showing me the way both in life and in memory.

Danita, I think of you often especially during this time of reunion planning. What would Danita do? It was during the last Daniels Reunion July 2007 that we last saw each other. I remember your words of encouragement as Chip and I were going through chemo. I look forward to honoring your legacy during this year's reunion. Love always! Thornton Family Cincinnati OH

I had the privilege of graduating high school with Danita. She was elegant and poised during what had to be a difficult time for her, since our town was segregated and not welcoming. She is a role model for me. She and her family are in my thoughts.
