A native of Denver, Colorado, the son of the late Lew Gene and Virginia Pryor Lund. He served in the Air Force, was of the Baptist faith and employed at Clayton Homes of Henderson.

 

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

 

Surviving are his wife of 39 years, Joni L. Lund, a daughter, Valaree Lund of Manassas, Virginia, two sons, Nathan Lund of Stovall, C.P. Lund of Oxford, four grandchildren, two sisters, Kathy Lund of Paulen, Arizonia, Lori Lund of Mt. Pleasant, Texas, a brother Lew G. Lund II of Bogota, Texas. He was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Lund.

Visitation will be held Saturday, October 9, 2010 at the Eakes Funeral Home in Oxford from 2:00 – 3:30 P.M.
