A son of the late Sidney and Alice Jackson Scott, Danny was a native of Columbus, GA and who was a 1974 graduate of Columbus High School. He attended Tennessee State University. Danny was a Sound Technician who traveled extensively with local area and national recording artists. He was a self-employed brick mason and a member of Spirit, Truth and Liberty Ministries where he served as a Musician.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Dennis Scott. Survivors include: four daughters, Amber Wooden, Sarah Scott, Cylenthia Wooden Williams (Carlos) and Knikki Wooden; two sons, Michael Wooden and William Walker, Jr.; a grandchild, Javaun Wooden; one brother, Ivory Jackson; a beloved cousin, Bernice Gillard (William), nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
