This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, Dante Williams 42 years old , born on July 11, 1977 and passed away on June 16, 2020. We will remember him forever.
Dante Timothy Williams born on July 11, 1977, in Cincinnati Ohio to Harvey and Donnie (Cal) Williams.
Graduate of Western Hills High School 1995; Cincinnati, OH. Dante was a leader and loved by many. In high school he ran for student council president his senior year and won. Dante touched many lives with his humor and talent. He also performed in many choir competitions. As a child Dante always loved music, especially gospel music. No matter how much he performed, Dante always found his way back to his Baptist roots and his love for gospel music.
There was no room he walked in to and didn’t brighten it with a joke. He loved spending time making others laugh or just lending a listening ear and a helping hand.
Dante loved his family more than anything, after his dad passed, Dante became the man of the house helping his mother and helping his sister with his niece and nephew. We always looked forward to when he would bake one of his delicious cakes. Family vacations were always a favorite especially, those at the beach. Dante was gentle, kind and at times very stubborn, however he was loved dearly. He will truly be missed by his friends and family.
Dante was preceded in death by his devoted father Harvey T. Williams. He leaves to cherish his memory: a loving mother, Donnie Williams; Sister Tira Michelle Williams; brother Randy Williams of Georgia; niece Leah Williams; nephews Demetrius Williams, Brian Durham and Chandler Durham; a very special “Uncle David Williams” (Patty); dear friend Lamar; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
Tributes
Leave a TributeSo many years, so many memories, so many catch phrases, so many stories, fights, pageants, tears, laughs, performance mixes, shows, texts, road trips, bars and nightclubs, texts and phone calls at all hours of the day or night, you showing up at my house unannounced to pick me and my sewing machine and laptop up at 4am to sew you an entirely new dress and mix a brand new number, so many drinks and shots, and so, so, SO many “questionable life choices”- so much fun.
You were, maybe, the closest thing I’ve ever had to a “best friend”.
I can only imagine what Momma Donna, and your family are feeling right now, because my heart is just ACHING.
I miss you.
I love you.
and
I hope, someday, I’ll hear your voice yelling “MERNA!” Only to turn around and see you standing there, impatiently waiting with that look on your face, followed by “c’mon, get that sewing machine, I got us a new project.”
Thank you, for everything, but mostly- thank you for allowing me into your life, and choosing to be a part of mine.
REST IN PARADISE, MY FRIEND❣❣❣
