Tributes
Leave a tributeGod saw her getting tired, a cure was not to be.
He wrapped her in his loving arms and whispered ‘Come with me.’
She suffered much in silence, her spirit did not bend.
She faced her pain with courage, until the very end.
She tried so hard to stay with us but her fight was not in vain,
God took her to His loving home and freed her from the pain.
Auntie!
I am not there physically but daily my mind is on you. I talk to God about you and pray he is waiting with open arms to greet you with gram and gramp. I wanted you to know that even though we may have not talked a lot you were loved so much by me. My boys know all about you too. I’ve always been called mini Darcy and you know what to me that is a great honor. You’re the strongest women I know. I love you so much. I wish I could be there to give you a kiss and a hug and laugh with you about dad. You were there for me when I was in my accident and that meant so much to me for you to come to VT to see me after that scare. You’ve always had your own special spot in my heart as my auntie that I’ve always looked up to. I love you so much! You stay strong and when you’re ready you go we want you to be comfortable and happy again. I love you so much.

Namesake
When I was pregnant with my daughter, after having two boys already, and naming my second boys middle name after my brother Shayd, Darcy started asking me who I was going to name the baby after if this one was a girl. I could tell she was hinting around. Occasionally throughout the pregnancy she would mention it. Needless to say, Danielle Darcia it was. Darcy was so happy I named her after her, and she's a lot like her aunt Darcy, stubborn with a heart of gold, and she loves animals like Darcy did. When we were kids, she always came home with stray animals. I will forever love you Darcy.
Well when I was 16 I got my butt kicked pretty bad bye A Spaulding High School senior defensive linbacker that was 19. He was a big boy and made quick work of kicking my butt. I remember about 2 hours after it happened I was at a friends house who's mother was friends with Darcy. Darcy stopped to visit and saw me her little brother with a black eye and a busted lip. She imediately told me to get in her car and show her where this big 19 year old lived. Once we got to his house Darcy got out and knocked on the door. Out came this big tough guy yelling and screaming at Darcy to get the hell off his property. Soon he was yelling and screaming for Darcy to stop slapping the crap out of him. I remember her saying to him a big tough guy like you and a woman is kicking your butt hows it feel. Take in mind she did this with a dress and high heels on. I never heard another word from that guy. No one and I mean no one messed with Darcy's siblings. If you did there was a good chance you would get an ass whooping from our protector. My heart is aching. Iloved her more than words can explain.
