Darcy is one of five children and is the middle child. From what we hear about mom she has been and always will be the firecracker of the bunch.  She is survived by her older sister Sherry, older brother Steven, youger sister Denise and younger brother Shayd.  They too were able to visit Darcy together in January 2017.

Darcy's children are currently scattered around the United States but were all able to come see her together in January 2017.  Lynn Ann currently lives in California, Celeste in Oregon, Walter in Alaska, and Amanda in Alabama. 

Walt and Darcy were married July 1st 1972 in Winchester NH in a small ceremony where both sets of parents, Darcy's younger brother Shayd, and Walts daughter Margaret were present.  In 1973 they had their first of four children together, Lynn Ann. In 1974 they moved to Vermont and settled in St Johnsbury however in 1975 there were layoffs that required seeking work elsewhere. They then moved to Dallas Texas where Walt worked for the city of Dallas doing highway maintenance for about 6 months. One day Walt came home from work and homesick Darcy had the house packed and said "we're moving back home". Within a couple days they were back living in VT and in 1976 they had their second child, Celeste. Shortly after, in 1977(17 months later) they had their third child, Walter III.  In 1987 their fourth child Amanda was born completing their family.
In 1992 Walt and Darcy took a leap faith, packed up the family and moved to Alaska.  They fell in love with the state and after Walt retired they bought their dream home in Sterling Alaska.  Darcy loved her home and would sit outside for hours in the sun enjoying the nature around her. She also enjoyed sitting on their deck drinking cocktails and strolling around the neighborhood.  She peacefully passed in her home with family by her side.
