Darwin played an important helpful role in many lives. We knew him well as we grew up near Kutch and were close neighbors. He was specially good to my Mom when she was sick and we lived in Alaska. His support of her will always be in our memory A man of great character.

I wanted to share my sorrow for the loss of your Dad, Granddad, Great-Granddad, brother and friend. I work with the Senior Counseling Group and have had the privilege of meeting with Darwin most weeks for the past year. He has a fun sense of humor and we laughed frequently. He often expressed a sincere love for family and friends. If you are able to have a memorial service, I would be honored to attend a celebration of life.
With kind regards,
Lin Mondy

Please accept my condolences for the passing of Darwin. He will be greatly missed!

I will particularly remember Darwin from my summer "work vacation" at the ranch, where I aged from an 8 year old city slicker to an 8-1/2 year old "experienced ranch hand". It was quite the growing process for a youngster from Chicago to take part in working/playing on a ranch in Colorado, under the tutelage of two of the best cousins anybody could ever have, Darwin and Allen.
So much time has passed since my summer in Colorado, but the memories will last me a lifetime and has helped shape me as the person I am. I will forever be grateful for the time I was able to spend with Darwin, to be a part of his life and get to know what a really great guy he was.

I’ll miss you dear friend. Working with you at the bank, visiting with you and Donna on the phone and when you stopped in for coffee. I’ll miss your laugh, it was so contagious. Give Donna a hug for me, until we meet again......❤️

The barn was named Twinlight Hall as

a beacon for travelers who came by horse
