Dave and I began our relationship as great friends.  When we first met in 1998, I would visit him at his apartment on Gunther Avenue where he rented before buying his home.  He was such a funny guy, always cracking a joke, but keeping his eye on his goals at all times. 

One memorable moment during this time was whenever I would visit him at his apartment his carpet was always freshly vacuumed with the lines still in it.  Dave always needed his surroundings to be kept pristinely clean and neat.
