Dave lived his whole life in Madison Co. He was the baby of eight. Dave never had any biological children but was a great Dad to David, Lori and Jason Godby.  And a Grandpa to eleven and one great grandson.

Dave is survived by four sisters, Mareln(Lloyd SR.) Patton, Hazel (John) Johns, Betty Vandiver and Roseanna Blackwell.  One brother, Lewis Hiday. Eleven grandchildren, Dalton, Ethan, Aubrey, Samantha, Megan, Sarah, Xavier, Brittney, Sabrina, Jaylen and Dallas.  One great grandson, Christopher James (C.J.) Mitchell.

Four Nieces,   Kimberly (Rev Anthony) Johnson, Lisa Patton, LaKeshia Johnson, Kayla (Michael) Ashley and Adrianna Lark.

Six nephews, Lloyd Patton J.R.,  David Patton, Vincent (P.J) Lark, Harvey (Miranda) Johns, Robert (Kristie) Johns, and Christopher (Jennifer) Johns.

Two special cousins, Frank McGuire S.R. and Billy (Shirley) McGuire.

Special friend, Brenda Deitz-Hiday

Dave is preceded in death by two brothers, Ralph (Gomer) Hiday and William (Wimpy) Hiday

The home going celebration for Marian (Dave) Hiday will occur Monday, September 28th, 2015 at Brown Butz  Diedring Funeral Home located at 515 E 53rd St, Anderson, IN 46013 Family viewing will be Noon-1. Public Viewing will be 1:00-2:00P Services will begin at 2:00 with Rev. Anthony D. Johnson Officiating. Funeral services are entrusted to Brown Butz Diedring Funeral Home. Interment will be Maplewood Cemetery.
