God davey the years are going so fast now but I keep thinking about what we used to get up to as if we were schoolboys, great memories , I wish they were not memories but realities , miss you so much mate , RIP
What the world needs now is you, Davey. Get all your great friends together, and, we could talk about all the good times we’ve had with you. Oh, that it were possible. For now, I guess our memories will have to do. Still miss you.
Rock on Davey wherever you may be, I miss your humour and sense of the ridiculous, I smile now and again when I’m reminded of some of the japes we got up to, right now our business needs a good injection of anarchic humour to deflate it’s self-importance, pity you’re not around to supply it, you’d be the man.
Wishing you all the birthday wishes and musical tunes to suit your needs today and every day. I hope you and Dad are celebating wherever you may be. Thinking of you both often. Coxo
Another year---another tear. Your uplifting spirit remains, dear Davey. You still walk among those of us who are better people because of your loyalty, friendship, generosity, and, genuine love of life. Cheers, on the day of your birth.
I cant help but think you and Pops are just having a dandy ol time up there. Mugsy and Davey man what a site that would be for sore eyes! I wish that in my younger years I had have the music taste as I do now, I am thankful though for those years of music I did get to share with you. Memories that can never be taken away from me or my sister. Have a drink for me mate! - Courtney Allen

Well bro I never got to say goodbye that tragic weekend in Scotland , so here we go . You meant the world to me and a few of the lads, I remember when we met in the Albion public house in Acton you were great crack lively , but a tad deaf , we became great friends there and no matter where I worked you were always there visiting me .when we came to you and Lynn's wedding in Catalina this was one of the greatest days in my life , never mind yours , gotta go bro , with a tear in my eye , still can't believe you are not with us , but trust me you will never be forgotten RIP bro
To remember you is easy, Davey; to forget you is impossible. Your birthday is marked on my calendar, and, will always be honored. HAPPY BIRTHDAY. Lorraine
On this day we usually start with a phone call to sing Happy Birthday to our dear friend Davey, sometimes even sing to him personally. Today is full of mixed feelings, knowing Davey is no longer with us physically but also knowing Davey will always be with us spiritually. Jean and I bought 2 balloons and put a picture on them of Davey blowing out a candle on his 50th. We headed to Vancouver beach to release them, singing Happy Birthday as we did so. As we did so a bald eagle flew over us (symbolizes strength and hope). The balloons flew off high in the sky. Then we hopped in the car and Rod Stewart was on the radio singing "Young Turks". Everything had fallen into place. We just want to say THANK YOU DAVEY for being part of our lives.
A human Dynamo, a generous, kind, and, warm human being. Gone too soon, but, leaving behind a reason for all of us to do our best, and, look, for all the good things in life, and, go for it !! What an inspiration. His mother in law, Lorraine
I knew Davey Bryson on and off for over 30 years, Davey was a Scottish radical maverick, highly regarded monitor/sound engineer but most importantly a larger than life, amusing bon vivant, raconteur and general good time guy. Over the years I had many an amusing time with him in cities around the world as we promoted Glaswegian social graces!! He was described by the more “po-faced” as “colourful”; I speak here from personal experience, this is shorthand for don’t light the touch paper! He was that type of man from Western Scotland who didn’t take no for an answer and would take on all comers if he thought the situation required, this approach is often misconstrued as being “difficult” but in reality it is a quality that has done our race very well over the centuries. Although I hadn’t seen Davey for some years he remains vivid in my memory and I shall miss his type of personality and humour, we need people like Mr Bryson in our lives. My thoughts to his family and close ones. RIP Mate……………………………………Andy Tinneveld
