Funeral services for David Baldwin Sanders, 21, of 2305 Port Caddo Road, Marshall, Texas, were held at 2 p.m. today at Trinity Episcopal Church with the Reverend William S. Douglas officiating.

Burial followed  at Andrews Cemetery in Karnack, Texas, under the direction of the Sullivan Family of Funeral Directors.

Sanders died Sunday, January 25, 1981, in Acapulco, Mexico from injuries received in an automobile accident.

A Marshall Native, he was born March 15, 1959. He attended Southfield School Shreveport, Marshall High School, and was a senior at East Texas State University.

Sanders was a member of Kappa Alpha Fraternity, and served as secretary and also coordinator of the KA Little Sisters organization. He was past social chairman of the fraternity. He belonged to Trinity Episcopal Church, Marshall.

Survivors include his parents, Dr. and Mrs. Jack M. Sanders Sr. of Marshall, one brother Jack Sanders Jr. of Marshall, one sister Beth Sanders of Marshall, his grandmother, Mrs. J. B. (Lucile) Baldwin of Marshall; and several aunts and uncles.

Pallbearers were Ben Whaley, James Ware, Jackie Lloyd, Kirk Furrh, Rod Watson, and Allen Martin.
