David deVere Walker, born June 23, 1923 in Winsboro South Carolina and went to be with the Lord May 9th, 2013.

He was a generous, selfless Christian man beloved by all who knew him and did much to help his fellow man. He was a benefactor and long time member of Grace Presbyterian church in Corpus Christi, Texas.

He had a great love of animals and was a generous contributor to animal welfare organizations in his city.
He was the owner of four little cats who came to him as strays. He grew to love them all dearly.
He would approve of his cat family displayed here.
