We sure do miss you, Dave. Luckily, there were two new lives added to the family in the past year to remind us of the cycles that are a normal part of life. We will tell the little ones about you with a smile on our lips hoping you are with Dad and finally content. I wonder which republican would win your vote in the primary.

I know that you are at peace now and without the pain that was part of your life for so long. We will miss you and your humor that you brought to the gathering before you were sick. No matter what, I always loved you, Dave.

My deepest sympathy to Dave's family. I knew Dave while he/we were in high school. My brother, David Bauer, is a dear, dear long time friend. Our hearts are broken that such a kind, gentle, loving soul has left us. Dave always seemed to be searching for something. I'm sure he has found it now. Be at rest, my sweet friend. Love, Nancy Bauer Cozzens
