David G. Hoover, 61, of Mullica Hill, formerly of Pennsauken, NJ passed away on December 7, 2021.
Beloved husband of 18 years to the late Helen Darczuk, devoted son of Dorothy Coyle and the late Ralph Hoover, loving brother of Diane Hoover Kane and the late Donald J. Hoover all of Pennsauken, NJ, dear uncle of Jennifer Kane of Lindenwold, NJ and step-father of Helene (Denis, Sr.) Horner of Wilmington, DE, and Thomas (Lisa) Morgan of Oak Valley, NJ, and step-grandchildren Denis, Jr., Devlan, Dean Horner, Zachary, Alexa, and Maximus Morgan.
David was a graduate of Camden Catholic High School and Rutgers University. He began employment with Rutgers University after graduating and spent his entire career there, most recently as System Administrator for Library Services. David loved to play golf whenever he could, loved the Grateful Dead and was a talented guitarist, devoting much of his time in music ministry singing and playing at various churches beginning at St. Stephen's RC Church in Pennsauken, as well as in the Camden Diocese Choir. For many years he has been a member of the ministry at the Catholic Community of the Holy Spirit RC Parish (formerly Holy Name of Jesus) in Mullica Hill, NJ.

Viewing will be held Sunday, December 12, 2021 from 7-9 pm and Monday, December 13 from 10-11:15 am at the Catholic Community of the Holy Spirit Parish Center, 17 Earlington Ave., Mullica Hill, NJ 08062, where his Funeral Mass will be offered at 11:30 am. Burial next to his dear wife at Manahath Cemetery, Glassboro, NJ.
