David has left us - for now anyway.  David left a legacy behind him - so many who loved him dearly.  David left us far too soon - leaving behind wife Carolyn, two amazing children, Nathaniel and Natalie, his wonderful mother Cynthia, a step-dad, Damon, and his two sisters, Kristin & Emily, and his step-sister, Amber.

When David would walk into a room, his smile would light it up!  He would make the best faces and impressions, he could imitate anybody! His sense of humor was nonstop - always coming up with something funny.  He was so much fun to be around!  He was intelligent, compassionate and loving.  He adored his wife and children but was never too busy to help a friend with anything at all.  If you needed it?  David would give you the shirt off his back.

David's humor and compassion was what got him through the pain he lived with every day, and now has gone on to a better place, with his precious Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  We miss you so much!  We will never forget you, and you will always be in our hearts. We will see you again, but this time, without the pain and forever.

Rest in Peace

We all love you.

David will always be remembered by me. He was my family for 10 years. He was a brave man who loved everyone the same. Always laughing and smiling. One thing to remember he was always in good spirits. We miss him everyday. Just knowing he is in a better place.
A funny story to share is when I was stupid enough to work out with him. Dumb on my part I said oh yah Dave ill keep up with you almost 30 squats in and I gave up my legs where dead and he said you got it just don’t think about your legs I was dead for a month lol. He was a workout Fantanic his favorite thing in the world was push up and not just regular pushups had to be triangle and clap push ups.
David will forever be loved and missed by everyone who had a chance to meet him. We love you so much David rest easy and love always!
See you again
Love, Sam

The Happiest Day of My Life

Posted to David's Facebook  December 19, 2013 ·

Happy Birthday David!
I will NEVER forget the day you were born!.

After being told that I might not ever be able carry children - the Lord gave me a miracle!

On this day - exactly twenty-seven years ago, at 3:20, and 3:21pm I gave birth to you and your sister. It was a planned c-section - your father and I went to the post office and did a bit of last minute Christmas shopping before I waddled into the  hospital - (um - at 65 inches around and over two-hundred pounds!) I was SO excited to FINALLY meet you!

You were my firstborn  - followed one minute later by your sister. You weighed 8-1/2 pounds, and your sister was 7-1/2. After losing almost 60lbs on the table - I promptly went into shock, and if your grandmother was not there - I would of lost my life. Her quick response alerted the medical staff - and as you have certainly noticed, I am still here.

They said we set the record at Northwest community hospital that day, for the biggest twins ever born in that facility. So not only were you a miracle - you were also record-setting miracles!

Speaking of your grandmother - one day, get her to tell you about how the waiting room was packed with people from our church , Auntie Patty, and Auntie Nancy - how the Pastor LEAPED over couch when they found out that you were HERE!

It was, without compare - THE HAPPIEST DAY OF MY LIFE.
The day you came into my life, was the most wonderful, amazing, terrifying(!!) and incredible thing that has EVER happened to me.

Nothing has changed - I have had the honor and the privilege of watching you grow into fine young adults. You are an awesome young man, father and husband, and you continue to amaze, delight and (occasionally terrify!!) me with how wonderful you are. We shared an incredible journey - You grew into a handsome, strong beautiful young man. I will always be grateful that the Lord sent you into my life.

I finish with this . . .

Your smile - made life worth living.   Your sense of humor was there from the day you spoke your first words. The joy of the Lord, the laughter of heaven was and always will be, part of your soul.  I miss this so very much.

You left a legacy - a beautiful wife and precious children.  I love them like they are my own, I will always be here for them.

When I carried you next to my heart, I dedicated you to the Lord Jesus.  Thirty plus years later?  I still do this - now, it means even more than that first time in 1986,  It is 2019, I know you are with the One who loves you even more than I do (if that is possible) and I will always carry you in my heart.

I am blessed and honored for every moment that I got to spend with you - even if it was only for a few short moments that went by way too fast. I KNOW I will see you again - but this time, it will be forever.

I love you
Mom.

The Marriage Years

David and I met in 2008 when we fell in love. It was an instant connection. We had great times being with each other. Whether it was watching movies, talking, having dinner always good. We had a love no one could understand. We were so different but yet so alike. The both of us could definitely argue and then make up instantly. We decided to get married and make it official we wanted to spend our lives with each other. Through our life together we had two wonderful children Nathaniel and Natalie. Had many adventures. We laughed we loved we cried working together with what life brought us. He was so much fun to be around. We never had a dull moment in our time together.
