Happy Birthday Dad. I miss you so much. Our talks, you giving me advice and helping me with problems. You were the best Father In Law a Man could ask for. We had good and bad times but we stuck together through thick and thin. I Love You with all my heart Dave. I will see you soon.

Your father was a wonderful, caring man who always made everyone around him smile not matter their mood. Ken and I have great memories of him and your Mother. They are together now and will forever watch over all of those who loved them and who they loved. Forever together walking hand in hand in Heaven until the day you all are together again. We had the honor to call him our adopted Dad and our hearts ache with you. Much love to you!!!!!

I will never forget that every time we saw each other that he would take my arm and start giving me sweet little kisses on back of hand and up to elbow...we made such a joke of it, and he was so good at making you feel special and happy. I will miss my neighbor and friend of 23 years. God has a sweet new little angel to talk the state of affairs with.

It was my honor to work for David Edmiston at Ft. Gordon - and it was my privilege to know him and call him my friend. You couldn't have a sour moment in this man's presence, he was simply to charming to allow it. I remember David treated each of us in his section as if we were the only one in his section; each of us were his favorite and he certainly made us feel that way. I am thankful that he will always be a dear, fond memory for me. What a wonderful man. I will miss him.    ( I ask The Lord to provide the Edmiston family with comfort, love and understanding during this difficult time. Blessings to you all.) John

With a heavy heart, I say Heaven received a husband, father, veteran & GOOD friend to many. Mr. Dave will always be in our heart & memory. He was kind...funny..loving & sweet.
I know he will be missed on earth, but also know he is happy to be with our Jesus and his wife.

Dave was a Great Father in Law. He was my best friend for 23 years. I love him so much and will miss him. He served his country in the US Air Force and as a civil service worker. He was also a big help to us Volunteers at Grovetown Fire Dept. Anytime there was a fire if he could no matter the time of day or night he would go get refreshments for us and bring them to the site. I Love and Miss you Dad but rejoice that you and Bev (Mom) are hand in hand again. I will see you soon.

My Uncle Dave was a VERY special part of my life and will be sadly missed and irreplaceable! His quiet demeanor would give way to his silly jokes and to stories that I never minded listening to.God has called him home to be with his wife,Beverly, and to join all family members who have passed before him.May he rest in peace.I can only send my LOVE & condolences to the Edmiston family and ALL those who join me in remembering this great man.
