His Life
September 11, 2019
Dave grew up in Bishop’s Falls, Newfoundland where he loved playing hockey and softball. Dave graduated St. Mike’s High School and from there moved to Toronto.

Living in Toronto, Dave pursued many career paths before returning to Newfoundland to attend Memorial University. Dave left university to take a job in Conche, Newfoundland as a teacher. This was a period of his life that Dace often reflected on with find memories.

After finishing his tenure as a teacher Dave returned to Toronto where he would live the remaining years of his life. Dave was part of the Down Homer Magazine in its early days and wrote several articles for the publication.

Dave continued to play hockey throughout his time in Toronto. One of his true passions in life. He would often recount stories of his time playing hockey and the friends he made during that time.

Dave would travel home as often as he could and always cherished these trips.

Dave was predeceased by his parents Charles James Ennis and Marion Patricia Ennis (McLaughlin).

Rest peacefully Dave you are loved and will always be missed.
