Tributes
Leave a tributeYou were the best father-in-law a girl could ever have. You and Carol are always like a second set of parents to me. I could always ask your help and count on you to fix something that always seemed to go wrong when David was out of town. I have never known anyone quite like you and never will. We miss you so very much, our lives have changed so much without you, but someday we will see you again. I love you and miss you very much!!!
I used to be your angel, and now you're mine. I Love and miss you with all of my heart and I hope that you know that. You were never a burden, Dad. I wish I knew and could've done more....I have many regrets. I'm so sorry, Dad. You mean the world to me and I can't ever tell you enough how greatful I am to have been blessed with such a wonderful Dad. Til we meet again.....I Love You❤

Our fishing days
One of my fondest memories of Uncle Dave will be us fishing together. So many times in Wisconsin, I would get up in the morning and I always wanted to go out fishing with Uncle Dave on his boat with him in the morning. We would sit there with our coffee, talking, laughing, and fishing. Sometime after 9 a.m., I would turn to him and ask, "Uncle Dave, is it time?" He would say, "Yeah, Kim, I think it is Miller time." He would get a beer and give me one and there we would sit drinking our beers, talking, laughing, and fishing. Aunt Carolyn says we always ran out of gas LOL!! We did a couple times and had to get towed back in!! After Eric and I got our boat, every time we knew we were going to go out fishing in the morning, I would say, "We need to call Uncle Dave to see if he wants to go with us," and sure enough he did!! So many great memories of him....love you and miss you so much!!
Mattress Nights
When my brother and I were little...my Dad would get out the mattresses and lay them on the living room floor. Then, we would all lay on them and watch tv/movies. You would have thought we were going to Disney World as excited as my brother and I got. My Dad always loved to watch all the Halloween and Christmas specials with us....who am I kidding....he was still watching them even when we got older, and with his grandsons. His all time favorite Christmas movie was The Polar Express. My mom said he would put that movie in even in the summer. I can see him now...so many Christmases past, in his recliner going back and forth between that and A Chritmas Story, all day long. Last year I even took pictures of him diligently watching Polar Express as if he never saw it before. He was a big kid at heart....and that was one of the things I loved about him the most. He made everything fun for us. I love you Dad...thank you for so many great memories♡`
