I can't believe it's been 8 years, I still think of you often. That's how we know the impact you left in this world, when you live on in the hearts of others.

Dad, your grandsons are growing into young men. I wish you were here to see them, but I like to think you somehow know that John is driving your tractor now and is a good swimmer, and that Kyle is reading well on his own but still likes to hold my hand while he falls asleep. I tell them things about you whenever I can.

I miss you.

You are missed daily. Every time I pick up my Guitar. Kevin was down in May.We played together, some of the songs that you played with him and it was like you were here with us, and I believe you were watching over us. You're always in my heart & always will be. Love you, Kathy

I have known David for years through his brother Bryant and Bryant's wife, Doreen. My greatest and lasting memory of David is when he sang "Karen's Climb Song" at the Karen's Climb Concert. I know he will be missed by so many.

Dave's inspiring example is a constant presence in our lives. It was an honor to contribute to Karen's Climb and to share in the stories of suffering and gratitude. I will treasure the times we played music together.

Dad taught me how to catch fish, pick peas, shuck corn, and cook perfect homefried potatoes. My love of reading and sharing ideas came from many hours discussing books together. He also taught me about integrity. I miss you, Dad.

Dave was the kindest man I have ever known. Somehow, through it all, he stayed "forever young" and he will be "forever missed".

David made a tremendous difference is this world. He was on the comittee of "An evening with Ray Charles" in 92 to raise funds for breast cancer research in honor of my sister. "Gentle mentor" says it all. He taught me so much! He will always be in my heart. Love you Dave

I had the pleasure of meeting Dave through Karen's Climb, and for years was on the sideline as he led the organiztion to raise funds and help hundreds of CF families. Altruistic, kind, patient, and an all-around class act. He will be missed.

"When you mean what you say
And you live it every day
You can really make a difference in this world."

Words Dave wrote and lived by. He was a gentle mentor.

Dave, You made a wonderful life for you and your family. I remember when we were growing up in Norcross, Me. One room school house with your Aunt our teacher, running down to the wharf and jumping in for a swim, sitting on your grandparent's hotel steps while waiting and watching for train #7 to go by.

Thank you Dave, for giving us Karen's memories.

Your sister-in-law, Doreen Larlee
