David (Dave) born January 1, 1952, Mesa, Arizona and went to the lord on March 29, 2014 Surprise, Arizona. He was preced in death by his parents, Angel and Josephine Paredes. He is survived by his wife of 37 years Norma "Norma Jean", Norma's daughter Tamara (Nick) Martin; daughters Jean Nichole (Henry) Lopez, Natalie Paredes, Theresa (James) Paredes and Solana (Juan) Paredes and son Daniel Paredes; grandchildren Clay and Ciara Dawson, Julian, Jaden and Mia Lopez, Kaylee Collins, Addison Thomas, Ralph and Sophia Alonso, and Cydnee Belt; his sisters Margaret, Amy and Cecilia and brother Angel; his nieces and nephews and their families and many beloved cousins and close friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, April 3rd at 4 p.m. at Christ Church of the Valley in Peoria.

David was married to Norma Jean for 37 years. Norma's daughter Tamara (43) lived with them full-time from the age of four. Norma and David have five children together, Jean Nichole (33), Natalie (30), Daniel (27) and twins Theresa and Solana (23). Norma and Dave have ten wonderful grandchildren, Clay (20), Ciara (15), Julian (13), Jaden (11), Kaylee (10), Mia (5), Ralph (4), Addison (3), Cydnee (2) and Sophia (5 mo).

Dave and Norma's biggest celebration has been their family; however, they have enjoyed traveling to California, camping, Disneyland, Magic Mountain, Knott's Berry Farm, Washington, Oregon, Colorado, and Texas. Dave and Norma especially enjoyed trips to San Francisco and San Diego.

Dave has worked for Deer Valley School District for the past 11 years and has made many friends along the way as that is the same district that all the children attended and Norma has worked for, for the past 16 years.

Dave's calm, cool and collected personality was easily likeable. He was loved by many and will forever be in our hearts and prayers.
