The last time I saw my cousin David was on his birthday night. I was singing karaoke at Tims pub. As I was singing two familar faces came and joined me on stage. My cousins David and Baby Karl. We sang a song together and we talked afterward, Before they left the bar david came and told me they were leaving and I asked if they needed a ride but he said no they were in the hotel next door. Then he said goodbye and he said I love you Magnum. Thats the nickname he gave me years ago,why that name I will leave for another story. I love David, he was so funny and loud and so good with kids. He surely is missed by all his family,mostly his momma, my Aunt Katheryn. Her heart has been broken,never to be the same. LOVE YOU DAVID  YOUR CUZ MAGNUM

The weekend before my dad passed, he spent the whole weekend with his grandsons and myself. we had a good weekend, we went to the park with the kids, pushed them on the swings, yelling at them "dont throw the wood chips!". lol. We brought snacks for the kids. the whole time the boys were yelling at Papa, "Look at me. " . he gave is undivided attention. He slept in my overstuffed armchair with the ottoman. He said it was the best sleep he got in a long time.

I know we had our problems. but he was still my dad, no matter what. Im just greatful for that last weekend my boys got to have with him.
