What a heartbreaker to lose an almost 13 year old boy.
My son was much older, and the loss much more recent (2014) but my heart still hurts.
I wish I could offer your mother some magic words to ease her pain, but there are none.
I wish you and my son David,(yep, same name) could find a way to send your mother as well as me, a sign that you are OK and happy.
My David died in a house fire and we did not even have a chance to say goodbye, I hope your passing was gentler.
Mothers always long for their children.
