This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, David Arroyo, 36, born on August 28, 1979 and passed away on May 30, 2016. We will remember him forever.

David's Prayer, I overheard him pray the last time he visited me in Las Vegas from May 15-21, 2016

Prayer of St. Francis of Assisi

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace. Where there is hatred, let me sow love; Where there is injury, pardon; Where there is doubt, faith; Where there is despair, hope; Where there is darkness, light; Where there is sadness, joy.  Grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console; To be understood as to understand; To be loved as to love. For it is in giving that we receive; It is in pardoning that we pardoned; and It is in dying that we are born to eternal life.

It's the one year anniversary of your passing David. We've missed your smile, jokes, working in the yard, and cooking. You must be over joyed now that Eva is with you going for walks and running on the beach. When the light in the cabinet and fan in the dinning room go on, we know that you're visiting. Be at peace David. We love and miss you. Scott

My dear son, today is two months since you've been gone; I miss you so very much! Time has stood still for me; at times I cannot even breathe. I am struggling to find my "new normal" knowing that I will never get over the loss of you, not in a day or month or in a million years! I love you my son David forever and a day!

I'm lighting a candle for you David. I want you to know that you're in my heart and praying for you. I know you're here and watching over Eva. We'll take good care of her so there are no worries. Be at peace David with all my blessings. I love you very much and miss your smile. God bless you David..your spirit is free now.

We are not physical beings that have the occasional spiritual experience, but rather we are spiritual beings that have the occasional physical experience. Our paths never crossed, David, although I feel that I knew you through long conversations about you with your mother. I do know that, although troubled, you lived your life as best as you could. It’s also obvious by the number of heart felt wishes of bon voyage here, that your wonderful spirit walked forth and touched many lives in this momentary physical experience of yours. May God bless you, David, your family, and your friends during this time of your passing. And may I humbly offer to you and your friends here, for what comfort it may afford, that as your ship slowly sails away from this shore, and as you look back to see everyone’s tears of sadness and waves of goodbye start to fade in the distance, take comfort in knowing that there are just as many tears of joy and waves of hello from your loved ones on the other shore who are eagerly awaiting your arrival.
