In very early May, 2016 David flew to Anchorage, Alaska to "visit" his dear cousin, Albert who had been living in Alaska for the last 6 years when he moved from us here in Las Vegas; David was so very excited about this trip; he was going to experience Alaska; he wrote a detailed journal everyday of his trip and took videos and pics as well! When David first told me about his trip..it was for a "visit" and he was extremely conflicted because he would not see me on Mother's Day...but I encouraged him to go and he planned to fly here to Las Vegas to spend a week with me to celebrate Mother's Day a little late. So as David is in Alaska he is calling me or texting me everyday...then he was telling me he and Albert were on a road trip to see the state's capital, Juno and he was going to see the Glaciers...I was excited for them both. Next communication I have with him he says he is on a ship/vessel kind of like a small cruise ship!!! I am so very happy he was doing this with Al and he sounded so happy and excited at the beauty he was experiencing. He said his return flight would be Sunday, May 15th and he would let me know if he needed me to pick him up! On Sunday morning he called and told me he arrived in Las Vegas and a friend had picked him up and needed help with a move and he would be to my house mid afternoon and wanted me to be ready to go get Thai Food at our favorite place, Basil Lime when he finally arrived ...I went to door and peeped thru and saw him there with this huge smile on his newly bearded face and a backpack on...I could see someone behind him but could not make out who it was...yet! opened my door and as I was giving him a big hug and kiss he said Hi Ma...look who I brought home? Happy Mother's Day!!! My nephew, Albert was behind David...a beautiful shock went thru my body...he then said he was sorry for lying to me about it being a "visit" but they both wanted to surprise me!!!! I am so grateful to have my nephew home here in Las Vegas with me! ❤️
