David Pollard Jr. was born  April 10, 1948 in Shiloh, Georgia to the late David and Shadie Mae Pollard.  He departed this life on Tuesday, December 3, 2013.  

He was married to the late Joan Deloach Pollard and to this union two children were born; Kimberly Worthen (Anthony) and Trenton Pollard.    

He leaves to cherish his memory Ms. Maggie Ree Brinson and a special grandaughter, Ms. Keyasha Lofton; five sisters, Ms. Bernice William, Ms. Clara Mae Crawl, Ms. Elease P. Gerard, Ms. Bobbie J. Wilkerson and Ms. Annette Pendergraph; two brothers, Rev. John L. Pollard (Patricia), and Myron Pollard; one sister, Janice P. Green and one brother, Kennie Pollard, both preceded him in death; seven grandchildren; one aunt, Rochelle Stanley; and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
