Dave was a gentle person with a big heart.  He had a remarkable knowledge in almost any subject that I could venture and he loved technology.  He enjoyed the good things in life and helped others to enjoy them too.  He was a wonderful father to his children and helped them all to overcome their individual challenges with love and patience.  He had a zest for life that brought him closer to those that he met sharing these rare gifts which I will always appreciate.

Dave's ability to come up with a witty comment on any topic was legendary . . .

For example, if you mentioened Giada DeLaurentis from the Food Network (for good or ill), Dave once said:

"She didn't cook that food.  You know that she didn't cook that food.  She nevver cooked food in her life . . . "

Knowing Dave was a prviiledge.  Glad that he got the boat 

I don't know where to begin.  My deepest sympathies to Sandy, all of Dave's relatives and other friends.  Dave was one of a kind and an amazing kind at that.  Lucas and I were lucky enough to share many great times with Dave and Sandy and were hoping for a lot more.  We met in Puerto Vallarta because fortunately they lived upstairs from John & Wendy.  After that first meeting we always looked forward to spending time together both in Mexico and in the US.  We all had a lot in common and that took us on many adventures; we enjoyed trying new restaurants and imbibing on delicious cocktails, boating, hanging out, and all the while laughing a LOT.  I can't say enough good things about the man.  He seemed to be perpetually happy and full of life and joy.  I/we will miss him tremendously and want Sandy to know that we are always here for you, whatever you may need.  Love always, Sheryl & Lucas
