David provided memories for my family and I that we could not have dreamed of. Almost always food was the medium. Dave included us in his rafting adventures, he was quite the guide. We would eat, raft, eat, go to camp build a fire and eat some more. On more than one occasion Dave would get this look on his face, a concerned look and tell us he smelt smoke and for all of us to grab a bucket of water. We did, he told us to empty our buckets on the other side of this huge rock. On the other side of that rock was a couple enjoying a smoke. We would repeat this for years. Dave was a giver of love and an example of selflessness. We are all blessed to have known him.
