David Wayne Evans 50, a resident of Wake Co. passed away Thursday April 18, 2013 at this home.
A native of Durham Co., he was the son of Shirley Keith Evans and the late John Evans. He was a member of Olive Grove Baptist Church and was employed with Hytech Co. in Raleigh NC.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Sunday, April 21st, 2013 in the Eakes Funeral Chapel 834 Main Street Creedmoor NC with the Chaplain Ralph Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Olive Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, 3024 Olive Grove Church Road, Creedmoor, NC.
Surviving are his wife Denise Evans of the home, sons, Hunter and Dustin of the home, daughter Heather of the home and a grandson Leighton Young. Also surviving are a brother Bobby Evans, a sister Tonya Pearce, a niece Karen Rose and two great nephews Legion and Lucas.
Flowers will be accepted.
Visitation will be held Saturday. April 20th, 2013 from 7:00 to 8:30 at the Eakes Funeral Home in Creedmoor.
Eakes Funeral Home in Creedmoor, NC is assisting the Evans family.

We are so very sorry to hear about Davids passing, He coached our Son in Basketball at Oak Grove Athletics a long time ago. He was a coach who cared about more than winning but made all those kids feel like winners. Our prayers go out to all of his family and friends.
