I have such fond memories of Dave, Cora, Gilly, Rhonda and Tracie. We lived 2 houses down from them. Tracie was my best friend from 1 at to 4 th grade.  We kept in contact until she passed. I spent many nights at their home. My mom Ella worked with Dave and my dad Don worked with Cora. Gilly and Ronda babysat us. I remember going to movies with them and back yard sleep overs. This was a great family and Dave was a great man. Sorry for your loss.

As all of our days seem to be fading with the loss of brother David and sister Dianne this year, it leads me to wonder what impact each if us has had on each other. Being the youngest in our family I did not get to see them go through life as much as I would have liked. I have been blessed with 4 older brothers and 2 older sisters. But I have had many opportunities as a teacher to see the impact older siblings have on their younger brothers and sisters. David was a protector and a very hard worker. Attributes that I only hope that I have had. How he embraced his 3 step children Gill, Rhonda and Tracy as his own was such a gift. And how can we not see the impact of love and protection he gave to Makiah!! Thank you brother David for all the gifts you gave to me and others that I will never know!

Dave is my oldest brother out of 5.  He was very meticulous  He would stand by a mirror and comb his hair for quite awhile before going to school into a perfect "DA"  He wore very nice clothes and wouldn't let anybody else iron them. His '55 Chevy was the cleanest He adored his 1st nephew (my 1st child Mark).
Later years, we didn't see him very often, but got in touch with him through internet and phone. I love you Dave! Your youngest sister, Harriet.
Looking froward to seeing you Miciah on March 31st
