You would have been 61 today, Dad. I wish I could call you one more time.

I love you and still miss you every day.

David, I honestly hope that you know how much I have loved you and I miss you. There are so many things I wish I could talk to you about. There are times when I wish I could just pick up the phone and talk to you. I’ll never forget my trips to Esbon. I wish we could do it again.
I have loved calling you “son”

May you be sitting in heaven with an almond roca latte as you watch your family celebrate you, and the impact you had on ours. Forever loved and missed.

I know that you will never see this note in this life, but it's my feelings.   I didn't know about this page until recently.

I still miss you so very much. I've been back to Kansas several times since I last saw you. Each time is harder not to go visit you. I miss our times in May.

I miss being your Mom.    Charlene ❤️

Tight spaces

February 4, 2016

I will forever remember traveling with him for a week in his semi. Meagan and I on the bottom bunk bed of the truck, decided it was prime time for a pillow fight. He gave us quite a fight until we grabbed one pillow at the same time and pulled him down.....he almost had a gearshift for a tail. It was soooo funny. Ive never seen someone try to grab for something so fast in my life, as his bum quickly approach the gear shift.

I will also always remember the "Kids" camping trip. Daniel,Jonathan, meagan, kristal, I believe austin, and myself. All in a 2 man tent while uncle slept in his car. We were so loud someone came and complained. It was so much fun though.  Then a flat tire on the way home made things really interesting. We acted like we were riding a horse with every bump from the flat. Uncle was not amused lol.

The Guessing Game

February 4, 2016

When Uncle would come home from a long haul, on a payday, he would cash his check and then walk in and fan his money out and tell us kids "Whoever guesses how much is here, gets all the money." I never did win! Lol Nobody won that game. Hehe
