Grandpa, I'm so saddened that you are no more here with us, but am so glad that God took you to be with him in heaven.
I love you, but God loves you more, Goodnight Grandpa, looking forward to see you again someday.

Grandpa, am so heartbroken that you left us in such a time like this. It hurts me that I never came to see u, I miss u Grandpa and I know that your spirit will always be with me. And I know that you are with the lord in heaven, and that one day we will be reunited again in heaven Grandpa, may God be with you until we meet again.

Our father was loved so dearly, and brought so much happiness to the many hearts he touched. He was always kind, caring and understanding towards people. And if help was ever needed then it came so freely from him. He was a blessing and God's gift to everyone he came across and brought so much joy to us. 

Emeka Awgu nine! That's what Daddy used to call me. The day we met in Nightingale Ward of Nottingham City Hospital remains a proof that God orders the steps of His people. From there, you took me to your house and made me feel at home. Each time I visited, you and Mummy made sure you fed me on human food and on the Word of eternal life. Your innermost being was always aglow for Jesus Christ. My Christian sojourn was always sharpened and I never left your presence regretting. When my PhD was almost vanishing into the air, you and Mummy took every possible steps to ensure that justice prevailed. On the graduation day, you made sure to honor me with your presence as the father, uncle, brother, everything of the humble celebrant that had no one beside you. Whenever and wherever I told the story of my sojourn in Nottingham, I made sure you were remembered with much respect. Even now that I am in Nigeria, you have always asked of my children, on each call we shared. Eventually the time came for you to return to home in answer to the call of the Most High. This reminds me your usual expression 'madu aga adi ndu puo ero?'. Certainly a big NO. As you go back home, may the Lord grant you a sweet peaceful rest in His Holy Presence, in the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen 

To my dear gentle giant. I will miss your wide generous smile as you  called' Max Max'. God in his infinite and mighty pleasure has seen it fit to call you yonder.So we celebrate your amazing life and say RIP.

Sad i didn't get to spend quality time with you but will always cherish your wisdom, encouragement and inspiration. Am sad that I will never see you again here on earth, Even though our grandfather is no more, we will always be together in spirit until the day we will meet again in heaven. Rest in peace grand dad

I keep thinking about you, Dad, even though it hurts. I’d give anything to relive those memories again. Not a day goes by that I don’t think about you. I wish I still had your wisdom to guide me through my everyday. I cannot say and I will not say that he is dead, he is just away. With a cheery smile and a wave of hand, he has wandered into an unknown land, and left us dreaming how very fair Its needs must be, since he lingers there.
Think of him faring on, as dear In the love of there, as the love of here, think of him still the same way, I say;
                   "He is not dead, he is just away"

Kenna Kenna! As he fondly calls me. I have known Dr Davidson Menakaya to be a God fearing man, a very hardworking man and a great family man who loved his family and also really enjoys helping others. 
I will miss you but God knows why he called you home to join the heavenly Angels. 
I pray the good lord grant us the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss. Amen
