Dawn M. Orozco passed away on October 29, 2019 in Toms River at the age of 54.  Born in Perth Amboy, NJ on September 11, 1965, she grew up in Toms River where she attended Toms River High School North and graduated in 1983.  She was a licensed cosmetologist and spent most of her career doing hair and nails at Looking Good Salon on Fischer Boulevard. She eventually left the salon to devote her time to raise her two beautiful daughters, Morgan and Paige.  Her girls meant the world to her.  Whether it was dance class, swim class or just spending time in the backyard pool with them, Dawn was a devoted mother whose children always came first.  She will be sorely missed by all who knew her.  Dawn’s family is proud of how she continued to fight her liver and kidney disease for over twenty years. She fought a long battle and never gave up on herself and for that her family is thankful.  Dawn was predeceased by her mother Joan and her sister Lisa. Surviving are her daughters Morgan Orozco and Paige Orozco.  Her father Richard Spohr.  Her brother Keith (Claire) Goodman.  Her sister Nicole Spohr.  Her nephew Richard Goodman and niece Rachael Goodman. Visitation will be Friday November 1st from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at The Lakewood Funeral Home 6250 Highway 9 South Howell, NJ 07731.  Cremation will be private.
