Her Life

Bio

July 14, 2014

My mom was raised by her parents Jim and Pat Williams alongside her brother Mike Williams. She graduated from Claremore High School and married Joe Ayres whom she met in Stillwater. Although the marriage did not last, my parents gave the world myself (Jackie) and my little brother Tommy. We each got 23 and 17 years with our mother and she helped shape who we are in many ways.

My mom loved to help others in any way that she could. She would babysit kids, cook for people, take them to appointments, anything she could do-she would do it. She loved the outdoors. Flowers, beaches, forests, everything. She would take us to float the river or camp when we were younger. She also loved to create things. She was a great painter and costume designer, she could do it all.

Unfortunately my mother lived with a horrible illness known as Bi-polar disorder. She had a particularly brutal battle with this disease of the mind and it drained her of the zest she had for life bit by bit. In the end it would seem as if the disease had won. But I like to think that she refused to let it weigh her down anymore. And instead of living a life clouded by a darkness she could not control, she is now free to soar through the skies with her angel wings. No more heaviness and no more darkness.
