Hi Uncle!!! It's been a while... I'm just stopping by to say hi. I've missed you so much. I am finally getting married to that guy I think I told you about. Yes he's been great. We had our ups and down but it's brought us together for the most part. I wish you were here to celebrate with us but I know you are shining down on us from heaven. I really do miss you *tear*. Love you

Oriade Wellington, Oriade Chief, Iwo Gedu, Iwo Sokari, wondering why a tribute from your friend as taken this long to come, perhaps too difficult for me to accept that you're no longer with us in 'body', I can honestly tell you, 'YOUR SPIRIT & LIFE LONG MEMORIES' LIVE ON. Pls, don't forget 'Tola,'Tade,'Tokunbo,&'Tomiwa. As for you & I, we'll----.

Oriade Wellington, Oriade Chief, Iwo Gedu, Iwo Sokari. Wondering why a tribute from your friend has taken this long, perhaps could not accept you're not with us in body, very much with us in spirit, & life long memories live on until we meet again. We'll have much to catch-up on, not soccer though, but 'Great Adventures. Sleep well 'Omo Boy'.

Reading all of these "candles" again made me think how great of a person you were.. Even with you not here anymore, the lessons you taught us continue to guide us and we're still learning day by day. Thank you for being the greatest dad ever and so much more. I love you and I miss you.

We met in UNILAG way back in 1976, you were a great footballer and I was just a passable player, but our love for the game was the bond that kept us as friends. We graduated and I never saw you again, though once in a while during discussion with other friends, we mention you. I am full of regret I did not contact you when I came to live in US, now it is too late. Sun re o my dear friend.

There isn't a minute that goes by that I don't think of how much you've taught me, about growing up, and what it means to be a man. After one whole year, with you gone, I still feel like you're teaching me, slowly but surely. I have and will continue to try my best to take care of Tomiwa, Tade, and most of all Mommy. I love you Daddy and hope you're having a great time up there in Heaven.
