Easter

April 30, 2012

I remember that one Easter when Matt and Zach were little and she made them their baskets.  Before placing any candy in them, she took a bite out of each one.  She said the looks on their faces was priceless!  They couldn't believe that the "Easter Bunny"  would taste their candy.

That Christmas was literally right before she found out she had stage 4 pancreatic cancer.. she really did not feel good, however, she put on a big smile, cooked dinner, watched us unwrap all those presents she bought for all of us, and made it a great last Christmas memory. She was and always will be the strongest woman I ever met- hands down.

Check her nail color out....we always had the same drastic taste in nail polish color. I love it :)

Spa nights

January 4, 2012

Whenever Zach would work out of town, I would bring Haylei over to moms and we would have a "spa night" which included face masks, showers, movies, nails and just talking and laughing. After the kids were tired and went to sleep, then me and mom could just lay back, talk and hang out. The last spa night we had a heart to heart and she wanted to make sure she showed me what unconditional love was. She definitley did. Now that shes gone, well its like a hole in our lives...undescribable..

.. Im just blessed I had the chance to know the real her and have lots of memories with her.
