Mrs. G ..can't believe it's been a year! So miss your beautiful smile that would light up a room. I wasn't fortunate to have you in school but I got to know you as a person..a friend. And to hear my kids talk about the fun times in music with you makes me smile. I remember the first program i had ever done. "I need a vacation" at the end of my 4th grade year. It was my first time acting. It was so much fun. And she made it even more fun because she got so into it. She is who inspired me to get into music and i even do some acting when i get the chance. She really opened up a beautiful world for every child to explore.
Several students auditioned to sing "I Can Only Imagine" but Ms.Garrett chose Jessie. She worked with her and encouraged her.....this was the first time Jessie sang in front of a crowd other than church...she has been singing ever since. THANK YOU MS. GARRETT!!
