Mrs. Deborah J. Jordan of Columbus, passed away Sunday, August 31, 2014. She was 61 years old and resided at 210 Braselman Avenue.

A native of Columbus and the daughter of Mrs. Willie Mae Jackson Baldwin and the late John T. McGruder, Deborah was born December 7, 1952.

She attended Columbus State University and was employed as a Correctional Officer at the Muscogee County Jail.

Other than her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hamilton "Hamp" Jordan and a brother, Marcus A. Baldwin.

Survivors other than her mother include two children, Treva McSween(Mark) and Winston Calloway; three step-children, Michael Jones, Mark Jones and Michelle Smith; eighteen grandchildren; one brother, Roderick Baldwin; two sisters, Ava Johnson and Cassandra Baldwin; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
