Deborah “Debbie” Cutts Stallings, 60, a resident of North Myrtle Beach, S.C., and native of Granville County passed away Sunday, February 12, 2012 at Hospice of Wake County in Raleigh.
The daughter of the late Katie Suitt Cutts, she was a member of Oxford Baptist Church and affiliated with Barefoot Landing Church in North Myrtle Beach. She was a devoted wife, mother, MeMe, daughter and sister to her five siblings.
Memorial services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Tuesday, February 14th in the Eakes Funeral Chapel in Oxford by Rev. David Gilbreath.
Surviving are her husband, Eugene Howard Stallings Jr. of the home, her daughter, Shannon Stallings Carmack of Mocksville, a son, Eugene Howard “Chip” Stallings III of Wake Forest, her father Pettis Stuart Cutts of Oxford, four sisters, Pam C. Mihalik of Ormond Beach, Fla., Cheri C. Hart of Oxford, Melba C. Baker of Clarksville, Va., Cynthia C. Tucker of Richmond, Va., a brother, Michael C. Cutts of South Hill, Va. and four grandsons.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of Wake County, 200 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC 27607.
Visitation 12:30-2:00 PM Tuesday, February 14th 2012 prior to the service at the Eakes Funeral Home in Oxford and other times at 104 Park Drive, Oxford, NC 27565.
Eakes Funeral Home in Oxford is assisting the Stallings family.

I am so sorry for your loss! Your Mom will be greatly missed! Even though it has been many years, I still remember her beautiful smile and how nice she was to everybody. Moms like her are few & far between! Cherish the memories and know that all of you are in our prayers.
So sorry to hear about Debbie's death. You always saw her smiling and I know everyone will remember her that way. Take one day at a time and don't look further than that right now. In the days to come you can then look at tomorrow. Thoughts and prayers will continue!

Words cannot express my sorrow for the loss of Debbie. I have so many fond memories and pictures of our times together. I will always treasure all the good times we had on the beach, at my house and yours, dancing at Harolds, and just laughing at all the crazy things that happened. I am so sorry for the loss of Debbie, she was such a sweet and good person, I as will many will surley miss her. Phil and I were by your home last week to let you know we had bought a home @ NMB, but no one was home, I admired Debbie for the strenght she had, she was a remarkable woman, I will surly miss that Big Smile she always had

I was so shocked and sadden to hear of Debbie's passing. She and I served on jury duty together at the city a few years ago and although I "knew" her, I really got to know and love her that week. Sending prayers of comfort your way.
