My memories of a friend from another country

January 18, 2022
When Sis Deborah came for the first time to the Netherlands, I thought she was a sister that I didn't see for a while, so I greeted her in dutch, she didn't understand it, than I knew she wasn't dutch. Than she said to me about the brother that wanted to greet her also, is he your husband? I said, no. I wasn't married at that time.
She and her husband came several times to the Netherlands and once we said, with a whole group of ladies from the youth, that we want to come to her church. I think, I was the only one that make that come through. I went on my own and booked a hotel. I know a friend of mine, I called her my mom, she was so afraid that I did that. She was also the first in mind to call when I was arrived and she was so glad I did that, because she thought maybe I wouldn't arrive alive.
I think it was in the year 1999 or something. I made also an appointment with Boris who came to our church also a few times. So Boris picked me up from the airport to bring me to the Hotel and Deborah picked me up every morning for the church conference. She made a lot of jokes in the car. She said once to me, I got a cd from a sister, can you put it in, so I did and as soon as I heard the sound we said together : Oh no at the same time. She said it's like Nathan playing on his little keyboard.
Once I prayed when she came to the Netherlands and I got, give her a doll, and I went to a special shop to get a doll with dutch traditional sealand clothes. When I gave it to her, she said to me, how do you know? I collect dolls! I said the Lord told me to give you this. So when I was with her in 1999, she showed me a room full with dolls, most of them where native Americans
Before I came to her house, I red a book and the Lord told me, when you finished it, give the book to sis Deborah. So I gave it to her,and she started reading it, she was totally in the book. Later on when I was at home, she mailed me, to send her two copies of the book because she needed it for others. I tried to find it, but the publishers said, they wouldend publish it anymore, so they gave me the address of the writer, and he also said that he has no books of it anymore because it was an old book, but he said he has copies only on paper with a ring. I said, send them for me. So she expected books, but I said to her, they don't have, I went especcially to the writer, and this is what he could give, so than she was satisfied.
In New Jersey she invited me to her house to eat "Kip"en "worteltjes"(Chicken and carrots in dutch) and we went also out eating a several times. It was very nice. especially with the chair, which was James chair which sat very nice, but I heard from Nathan that he won't even to dare to sit on it, so I said, aw than I don't want to sit on it either.
Yes every time she came to the Netherlands she sang. The last time I saw her, she and her husband were in a hotel. She wanted to send some cookware to her house, so I got her post boxes to send the things home she didn't want to carry, but the cheeses where without refrigerator so I giver her a cooling bag with coling elements  that I put out my freezer to keep the cheeses cool. The last time I mailed her to give my condolences for the homegoing of her dear minister David Demola, she said she very appreciate it because it came in due time for her, and now she went home herself. Yes she was wonderful, special, different. Some people I met is for a purpose, for a time, for a season, the Lord knows, but I know we'll see her back.
It's like Isaiah 57: 1 and 2 says: The righteous perisheth and no man layed it to heart: and mercyful men are taken away, none concidering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come. He shall enter into peace: they shall rest in their beds, each one walking in his uprightness.
Love, God bless

Deborah Cooper - Singing with the Angels

October 2, 2021
Rev. Deborah Cooper ... She was a powerful and anointed woman of God!  Back in 1990 when Faith Fellowship was in Oak Tree Road in Edison she was the Choir Director, then in Sayreville She transitioned Worship Leader/Minister.  My mom and sister Sonia used to bring her some of that good Puertorican food, so that She can have a good lunch between or after services. When we purchased our home in 1999 she and her husband James Cooper anointed our home. My mom loved her so much. She actually told her that if Deborah and James ever had their own church, she would become a member. When my mom got sick, they were with our family until the very end. When mom passed she lead the entire funeral service and sang "His Eye is on the Sparrow". She was beautiful inside and out! Deborah was an AMAZING WOMAN OF GOD!!  I will miss her terribly, but she is present with the Lord and singing with the Angels. My deepest condolences to the two men in her life, James & Nate and the Family. #RIPDeborahCooper
