My mom lived a great life. She was very loving and caring and always there no matter what. She was diagnosed with lung cancer which then traveled to her brain and liver. She fought the long fight and never gave up. She didn't want cancer to defeat her and she wasn't going down without a fight. I learned so much from my mom during this time. She showed me not to be afraid of anything, even when death was staring her n the eye. She taught me to love myself as well as those around me and most importantly to walk with my head held high no matter what happens in my life. I will never forget my mom and the things she taught me. I also will never meet another person who had my back like she did. There are only a few people in this world who have unconditional love for me and she was one of them. Fly high mom until we meet again. I miss you so much and my heart will never be whole again.
