Burial will follow at Morris Hill Cemetery under the direction of Bowman Funeral Parlor. Debbie was born May 31, 1959 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Bob and Lette Bailey. She was raised and educated in Albuquerque. In 1981 Debbie married David Street in Albuquerque and they moved to Boise, Idaho. To this union her daughter Raquel Street was born. Raquel was Debbie's whole world, and raising her was her proudest accomplishment. Debbie was a successful business woman, having been the co-founder and co-owner of Hi Tech Color in Boise, Idaho. She has served on the Board of Directors of the Idaho Epilepsy League and was instrumental in starting the Greg Gile Scholarship Fund. In 2006 Debbie returned to school to become a Dental Assistant. At the time of her death, she was working for The American Red Cross. Debbie loved life; she could light up a room. She had a sharp mind, infectious laugh, wonderful sense of humor, a stubborn streak, and unwavering faith. On September 20, 2008, Debbie married Scott Compton in Boise, Idaho. They planned a long, happy life together. Sadly, that dream has been tragically cut short. Debbie is survived by her husband Scott Compton; her daughter Raquel Street; step-daughters Mikayla Compton and Nicole Compton; her mother Lette Bailey; her brothers Dave Bailey and Rob Bailey, and sister Leslie Thyberg, and their families. She was preceded in death by her father Bob Bailey. Debbie's family would like to thank the care providers, family, friends and prayer warriors who supported them though this difficult time.
