Debra Gates Vargo Heffron, 56, of West Haven, CT, passed away Saturday, June 4, 2011, at Yale New Haven Hospital after a sudden illness. She was surrounded by her family when she passed. A former resident of Norwalk, and a 22 year employee of Stew Leonard''s, she was a genuine light of so many of her customers'' days, and will be sadly missed by many. Debbie was the daughter of the late Frank J. Gates Jr. and Anne Liquori Gates. She is survived by her husband Bill Heffron, brother, Frank Gates, son Christopher Vargo, Jr., daughter-in-law Kirsten Vargo, step-daughter Kelsey Heffron, and her beloved grandson Michael Vargo, as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
