Debra Williams Snyder of Birmingham, AL passed away on September 8, 2021 at her home surrounded by loved ones.

Deb was loving, thoughtful, creative, talented, and funny. She was a born caregiver who spent her life taking care of others and would give selflessly to anyone in need.  Deb loved her children passionately and was their number one fan. Her compassionate nature extended to animals as well. She loved and cared for many animals and would not hesitate to take one home if needed.

Deb lived her life on her terms, exactly how she wanted to and to the fullest. She enjoyed many hobbies and was an excellent cook, gardener, and antiquarian.

The family would like to thank ProHealth Hospice for their love and care during her illness and extend their sincerest appreciation to Taquita Morgan for her exceptional care.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Earnest Lacy and Josephine Williams.  She is survived by her husband, Richard L Snyder, her daughter, Briget Ferrell, son Bill Tedford, stepson Mark Snyder and his two children, Savie and Max.

Graveside service will be held on October 24, 2021 at 2:00 pm, at Mt Zion Cemetery in Jasper, AL.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to your local Humane Society.

Deb was full of life. She loved her family and had a close circle of friends. Her laughter was contagious and would bring a smile to your face. She loved to laugh and make others laugh. For those of us who loved her she lives on in our hearts.

Deb was my first cousin. Her Dad Earnest Williams was a brother to my mother Fay Williams.
Deb spent a lot of time with us when we were growing up.

Deb was spirited, energetic quite creative and an imaginative playmate.
As an adult, she made her own rules, lived life with zest and loved friends and family with gusto.
She will be missed by all her friends and loved ones.
