Decon Irving Chambers Jr., 84 Transitioned Peacefully Sunday April 7, 2019 At NYU Winthrop Hospital Surrounded By His Loving Children.
He Was Born December 6, 1934 To The Late Irving Chambers Sr. And Pearlie Mae Green In Glendora Mississippi. After Being Educated In The Glendora School District In 1956 Migrated To New York To Pursue Better Opportunities For His Family.
In Febuary 1969 He Married The Love Of His Life Lucy Lee Chambers. That Same Year; He Joined Holy Cross Remnant Church Of The Apostolic Faith, Under For The Late Bishop W.H. McNeil And In 1977 He Was Ordained Decon.
An Auto Mechanic By Nature, He Quickly Adapted To The Fast Paced City Environment, Obtaining Employment In The Automotive Repair Industry. In Addition To That He Worked As An Independent Tax Driver In The Nasssu Country Area Becoming The Neighborhood's Favorite Driver.
He Enjoyed Watching Western Movies Driving And Raising His Grandchildren He Was Devoted Family Man, Who Took Pride Improviding For His Family He Was A Strong Willed, God Learing Sell Starter, Instilling Core Values In Everyone Who Was Blessed To Know Him. He Led By Example.
