Decon Irving Chambers Jr., 84 Transitioned Peacefully Sunday April 7, 2019 At NYU Winthrop Hospital Surrounded By His Loving Children.

He Was Born December 6, 1934 To The Late Irving Chambers Sr. And Pearlie Mae Green In Glendora Mississippi. After Being Educated In The Glendora School District In 1956 Migrated To New York To Pursue Better Opportunities For His Family.

In Febuary 1969 He Married The Love Of His Life Lucy Lee Chambers. That Same Year; He Joined Holy Cross Remnant Church Of The Apostolic Faith, Under For The Late Bishop W.H. McNeil And In 1977 He Was Ordained Decon.

An Auto Mechanic By Nature, He Quickly Adapted To The Fast Paced City Environment, Obtaining Employment In The Automotive Repair Industry. In Addition To That He Worked As An Independent Tax Driver In The Nasssu Country Area Becoming The Neighborhood's Favorite Driver.

He Enjoyed Watching Western Movies Driving And Raising His Grandchildren He Was Devoted Family Man, Who Took Pride Improviding For His Family He Was A Strong Willed, God Learing Sell Starter, Instilling Core Values In Everyone Who Was Blessed To Know Him. He Led By Example. His Generous Heart And Willty Sense Of Humour Will Be Missed By All He Leaves To Cherish His Memory His Children: Diane Benford, Cleotha Hayes (Jim), Irving Chambers Jr. (Makeba), Patsy Thomas (Cedric), Betty Western (Thomas), Jimmy Chambers, Robert Chambers, Sherry Chambers, Patricia Pearl (Lamar), Trina Chambers, Joshua Chambers, Elijah Chambers (Shemecca), Voncilla Kyles (Pete), Brorhers: RC Chambers (Bernice) Detroit MI, Excell Chambers (Aida Mae) Detroit MI, Earl Lee Chambers Detroit MI, Kelly Hill (Serena Hill) Omah NE, Bishop James Jr. (Edna) Missouri, Sisters:  Cara Mae Madison (Jerry) Detroit MI, Rose Benson,Omaha NE, Sister In Laws: Ella Mae Chambers, Detroit MI, Lillie Mae Chambers Detroit MI, Rose Green, Brooklyn NY. 

A Host Of Loving Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Neices And Nephews.

He Is Pre Deceased By His Wife Evangelist Lucy Lee Chambers, Grandsons: Raquan Lee Chambers, Jim Hayes, Father: Irving Chambers Sr. Mother Pearlie Mae Green, Brother: Roosevelt Chambers: Nathaniel Williams, Charles Green, Johnny Chambers, Royce Chambers, Joe Lee Chambers, Sister: Cleotha Weller, Earnestine McClendon, Ruby Round Tree
