  I was out of town on your birthday but you were on my mind.
  Don't want to miss the chance to give you are hard time because at this time of year you are older than me for 20 days. 
  Sure do miss you. Life has been more difficult since you have been gone. Wish you were here to talk to about daily situations. Actually you are here in spirit .   They sure broke the mold after you were born. There is nobody like you ,my friend.
  "Best friend" is such a special title. Are we the only people who truly appreciated being best friends?  We knew how lucky we were and always will be to have such a spot on understanding and respect for each other. I love that!
 Miss you so much. A little over 9 years ago I got the call that you had passed away. Never will seem fair or real but God has a reason and I won't doubt him.

The more people I meet the more I am grateful for the friendship we had since 3rd grade. Although I've always known how lucky I am to have been best friends with you, people these days don't have a clue what a real friend is. I'm sad for them.
