Delilah was a wonderfully goofy and funny girl that lived a life of extreme struggles. She was found starving and tied to a tree at an abandoned house. She was rescued but then lost her home when her family moved to Utah where she came to live with her foster mom and family in early 2015. The unique and wonderful bond we had and the joyful memories she left us with we will always cherish.
Tragically she lost her life on January 27th only days after we had decided we could not let her go and wanted to officially adopt her.
We would be forever grateful if you could help us celebrate her short life and the love we had for her by donating whatever amount you can spare to help save another life.
A special thank you to CAWS.org the incredible rescue group in Utah that posted her for adoption, and to Southern Souls Animal League who are two amazing women Jo and Anna that have dedicated their lives to saving the discarded and abused animals of the south where Delilah was born.

Dog Park, Sprinklers and Toys
My moms favorite memories of me are running at the dog park with a huge smile on my face! I adored my foster brothers and sisters especially Rosa. We would run and run like crazy!
One time my sister Sicily and I spent 30 minutes chasing the park sprinklers. I could not figure out what it was but it was sure fun to try and catch!
One of my favorite times of the day was when mom sat down to watch TV. I would crawl up into her lap, turn upside down and begin my snoring for the evening.
She caught me making a pillow in my crate one day with her freshly cleaned mop head I had stolen from the laundry room.i loved to make her laugh which I seemed to accomplish many times every day!
I LOVED my toys. I would gather all of them in my crate to snuggle me. It was the best!
Thank you for helping me give another dog a chance at a happy life. Mine was very short but I was loved so very much.
