Della was born to Ray and Anna Haffner on Sept. 16, 1930 in Coutts, Alberta.    
She had an older sister Coreen  and two younger brothers, Greg & Bernie.   
At the age of 16, she married Troy Danbrook and they had 5 children, Carol, Lanny, Gloria, Janie and Rene.   At the age of 31, she became a widow with 5 small children.  She then met her future husband, Leonard Mattson and they later married and had one child, Lenny.  They raised their family in Cut Bank, Montana until all the children were grown.  In 1994, they moved to Burley, Idaho and in 1997 moved to San Diego.   They had been living in Moses Lake, Washington for 8 years at the time of Leonard's death, upon his death, she continued to live in Moses Lake until her death .  Della loved her grandchildren unconditionally and they had a very special bond.  She became "Gram" to many that loved her and was always making friends.  Until her death, she was referred to "The Energizier Bunny" as she was always on the go and very witty with a great sense of humor.  She was a very special, sweet lady and we will miss her terribly.
