Sista Knowles Champion was born on September 3,1948 in Greensboro, Georgia. She was the second youngest of 12 children born to the late Hallie and Willie Champion. She moved to Ohio to continue her education in Cincinnati Public Schools. Sista Knowles was a Home Daycare Provider for 20 years and gained custody of her grandchildren. She cared and provide for them until she departed this life. 

Sista Knowles was truly admired by all who knew her, to know her was to love her. She took anyone in and gave them love, guidance, advice ;she never sugar coated anything if you wanted the truth she told it  how it was, and mostly just gave  a listening ear and support. She would feed anybody on any holiday or just any giving day. She inspired so many to be good parents, hard workers and all around good people. She was  strong in her faith she put God first and  she prayed for her family and everyone around her. 

Sista Knowles departed this life Thursday May 17, 2018. She will be tremendously missed by her 4 daughters: Tangie, Robin(Pooh), Tamika, Hollie(Shavonne) and her son Joshua(Wobba Bobba) . Her life partner George; her Goddaughter Atasha: to the late William (Francis) . She had 25 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Her sibilings Christine(Fred) and James (Baby Lou). 

Her death was proceed by her son William and siblings Ossie Mae, Willie Jr, Louise, Dorothy, Vincent, Betty, AnnaMae, Clara and Estelle. 

This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, Delores Champion 69 years old. We will remember her forever.
