Dempsey Dewayne Daughtery "Maine" was born February 16, 1974 to Addie Jean Daughtery and the late Dempsey Daughtery. He departed this life Saturday, August 27, 2005 at the Regional Medical Center in Memphis, Tennessee.
He accepted Christ at an early age at the Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Reverend Ammon Jordon. He attended Westwood High School. He leaves to his family and friends so many beautiful memories to cherish: his mother Addie Jean Daughtery; one daughter Jasmine Perry; one son De'Ante Daughtery, all of Memphis, Tennessee; two sisters, Dana (Vacha) Vaughn, Angela (Herbert) Wright, both of Memphis, Tennessee; three brothers, Ellis Shotwell, Reginald (Enger) Robinson, and Eric Robinson, all of Memphis, Tennessee; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephew, many other relatives and friends.
