My shining star

Shared by Tamara Hargrove on December 14, 2011
I thank God for creating a woman as beautiful inside as well as out. As a child I would always hang at her house. She was more like my Mom instead of my aunt. There were things that happened to me as a child and all I remember is my auntie coming to the rescue :) i could always call and talk to her about anything. She was never judgemental and understood my point of view. If I was wrong she would tell me...i loved her honesty as well as generosity. I remember calling her every morning at 7am to tell her I loved her and to have a wonderful day. She always knew that at 7am she would get a call for me...if I didn't call she would call checking to see if I was OK!! She was the only one that could keep me sane and I miss her. I wake up in the morning wanting to call her to say I love her! She is my shining star and forever my angel! There will never be another like her...I love u auntie always...when I have sleepless night or in need of ur conversation I can look up in the sky at the brightest star and I feel peace...thank u for being u!!!!!

I remember....

I remember like it was just yesterday when you told me the words, "I hope you don't mind if I call you my niece" you looked me dead in my eyes and I told you, "No I don't mind at all". From that point forward you took me under your wing and treated me as if you've know me since I was in diapers. The love you showed, the way you were, words can't even describe. I miss and luv u so much. You are an beautiful angel who is watching over us all. I will NEVER forget you and you will FOREVER be in my heart! REST IN PEACE, Aunt Denice

Aunt Gernice!

That's what I what I would call her when I was little because I couldn't say her name! Lol! I laugh to this day the many stories she would tell me. She was my cheerleader when I felt as if I was nothing in this world. She could always put a smile on your face and food in your belly. That's what my Aunt Denise was all about love.she loved everybody and she passed that on to us kids. I remember as a child having birthday parties and she made our cakes homemade! We had a blast! I love and miss you and Denise. You are forever my guardian angel! I love you!
